Ecuador, Quito. - The President of the Central Electoral Board (JCE), Román Jáquez Liranzo, began the observation work today as head of the Electoral Observation Mission of the Inter-American Union of Electoral Organizations (UNIORE) in the second round of the Presidential Elections of that country to be held this Sunday, April 11.

For these works, the UNIORE Mission will be made up of electoral observers from Bolivia, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Puerto Rico, under the leadership of Jáquez Liranzo, president of the JCE of the Dominican Republic and president of UNIORE, who he also spearheaded the mission in the first round held in February this year.

As a first activity, members of the UNIORE Mission will hold an introductory meeting to said observation work. Then he will participate in the discussion "Ecuadorian Political Context in Electoral Times".

For Friday, April 9, the UNIORE Mission will carry out, together with other missions, the observation of the Vow at Home on established routes, and will meet with political organizations.

Likewise, the Mission will hold a meeting with representatives of the Contentious Electoral Tribunal (TCE) of Ecuador.

Likewise, on Saturday April 10, he will meet with Mrs. Ruth Hidalgo from the Corporation for Citizen Participation.

It will also hold meetings with the National Technical Coordination of Electoral Processes and the National Technical Coordination of Political Participation.

On Sunday, April 11, the UNIORE Mission will be present at the inauguration of the electoral process, will visit electoral precincts and will observe the closing of voting and counting at the Vote Receiving Boards.

Finally, on Monday, April 12, he will present the Preliminary Report and International Electoral Observation Forms.

Judge Jáquez will carry out these tasks as Head of Mission, the first as president of the Uniore, in the company of the titular member, Rafael Armando Vallejo Santelises and the director of International Relations, Jorge Suncar.

Ecuador, Quito. - El Presidente de la Junta Central Electoral (JCE), Román Jáquez Liranzo, inicia hoy los trabajos de observación como Jefe de la Misión de Observación Electoral de la Unión Interamericana de Organismos Electorales (UNIORE) en las Elecciones Generales de Ecuador, que tendrán lugar el próximo domingo 07 de febrero de 2021.

Para estos trabajos, la Misión de UNIORE estará integrada por observadores electorales procedentes de Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, México, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Perú y Honduras, bajo la jefatura de Román Jáquez, presidente de la JCE de República Dominicana.

Designan a Román Jáquez como Jefe de Misión de UNIORE en las Elecciones Generales de Ecuador

Santo Domingo.- El Presidente de la Junta Central Electoral (JCE), Román Andrés Jáquez Liranzo, fue designado como Jefe de la Misión de Observación Electoral de la Unión Interamericana de Organismos Electorales (UNIORE) en las Elecciones Generales de Ecuador, que tendrán lugar en ese país el próximo 07 de febrero de 2021.

Jáquez Liranzo será el responsable de encabezar la Misión Internacional de UNIORE, agotando una agenda de trabajo con las autoridades electorales y con la Secretaría Ejecutiva en el desarrollo de los trabajos, representándola ante otras instancias, incluyendo a los partidos políticos, sociedad civil y medios de comunicación, según lo establecido en el Protocolo de Observación.
