General Elections were held in Bolivia on Sunday, December 18, 2005.

The 2005 Venezuelan Parliamentary Election took place on 4 December 2005. The election sent 167 Deputies to the National Assembly of Venezuela, 12 Deputies to the Latin American Parliament and 5 Deputies to the Andean Parliament.

General Elections of Honduras were held on Sunday, November 27, 2005. In them, the holders of the popularly elected offices of the Republic of Honduras were renewed, these are: President of Honduras, 128 Deputies and 128 alternates to the National Congress, 20 Deputies to the Central American Parliament, 298 Mayors and 298 Vice mayors, as well as 2,092 Aldermen.

Chile's 2005 Presidential Election for the 2006-2010 period was held on 11 December 2005, in conjunction with the Elections for Deputies and Senators.

The 2004 Nicaraguan Municipal Elections were held on Sunday, November 7.

The Puerto Rico General Elections of 2004 took place on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2, 2004. The post of Governor of Puerto Rico and the entire House of Representatives and the entire Senate, as well as the Mayors of the municipalities of Puerto Rico, and the Resident Commissioner were also elected for four-year terms

Municipal Elections in Chile in 2004 were held on Sunday, October 31st of that year. Those responsible for local administration, i.e. the communes, were elected.

The 2004 general elections in Uruguay were held on 31 October to elect a new President of the Republic, a Vice-president and to renew the General Assembly of Uruguay, composed of the Chamber of Deputies (99 seats) and the Chamber of Senators (31 seats).
